Alan started his career in the audit department of Ernst & Young prior to working in the tax departments of two large regional firms. In 1996, Alan started his own practice and subsequently joined with Gregory Zoraian in January 1997 to form Sasserath & Zoraian, LLP. He has 25 plus years of public accounting firm experience with a broad background in accounting, tax, audit and financial planning. Alan's technical experience includes working with high net worth individuals and closely held businesses, dealing with matters related to both domestic and international tax. His industry experience includes technology companies, real estate management companies, construction, printing as well as numerous service industries.
Gregory Zoraian, Partner

Greg started his career with Ernst & Young before taking a job in private industry. Dissatisfied with the pace of private industry, in 1993 Greg started his own practice. In 1997 Greg partnered with Alan Sasserath to form Sasserath & Zoraian, LLP. Greg has 30 years of experience in both public accounting and financial management services, with a broad background in accounting, tax, and financial planning. His industry experience includes working with law firms, large supermarket chains, construction companies, as well as various established service industries. Greg utilizes a hands-on approach with his practice, which over the years, has resulted in numerous referrals from his loyal clients. In recent years Greg has spearheaded the firm's Hedge Fund Administration niche. This practice has grown to become a significant and successful practice area for the firm of S&Z.

Michael is a Tax Principal in our International Tax practice. He has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, most of it gained at PricewaterhouseCoopers and BDO in New York and prior to that, at KPMG in London. Michael has a wide range of private client, business and international experience. He specializes in servicing clients with cross-border tax situations giving rise to offshore structure planning as well as complex expatriate and nonresident alien tax matters. Michael provides cross-border tax compliance and consulting services to multinational companies. He also engages in tax planning and compliance for U.S. beneficiaries of foreign trusts in addition to advising foreign athletes and entertainers. Michael holds Bachelor of Business Studies and Masters degrees from Trinity College Dublin and is an Enrolled Agent of the Internal Revenue Service. He is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Ireland and currently resides in Long Island, New York.
